i'm surprised Moniker allowed such high reserves for the live.Partly for the coms but mainly for the mobis. The reserves were stupidly high imo

When you have good domains, the low reserve rule is thrown out, the rule only applies to domains that are destined for the silent auction. I wonder how many live auction owners received letters asking to lower their reserves?

.mobis should have never been in live auction. The bubble has burst. I sold 6 out 10.

The Dot Com line up for this auction was fantastic. Congrats on selling six :)

Perhaps its time that dot mobi auction off the premium mobis they are holding without delay and without reserve prices.

...and what happens after a speculative bubble bursts?

im glad .mobi is popular enough to even be in this kind of speculative bubble.. btw, the deflation has only begun (id say even before the auction).. it is nowhere near rockbottom yet.. for the people that didnt know they were signing up for a roller coaster ride of renewels - too bad.. that is part of the game and they will get consumed by others eventually.

of course this is all just in the domainers world.... if .mobi is ever going to be anything we all know it doesnt depend on the highs and lows of the reseller market.

you have to look at the contract you signed, there are a couple of different ones floating around - you'll likely have to wait 60 - 120 days depending upon what you signed and sent in with your names.

No more highs for .mobi. It's all downhill from here. You can ride the Titanic to the bottom of the ocean.

That would be a wake up call to .mobi fanatics. If the .mobi brain trust does this, it means they want some cash before closing the doors. They can't be expecting more than 5% renewals so they need to do something for cash flow.

I think they salvaged a few items from the Titanic. Granted, it took a while.

You never know, things may pick up in the silent auction and there's a few names doing okay in the Sedo auction.

All the .mobi live auction sale predictions on NP is enough for .mobi fanatics to feed on until the next live auction. :)
