What's the deal with NNNN.com? Why would someone prefer NNNN.com over NNNNN.com as that could potentially be a zip code? :?: What are others seeing that I'm not?

Thanks

I get the length part... But I'm thinking that zip codes probably have more type-ins and exact match searches. Is this right?

but each zip code only contains less then i don''t know, 200 people?
and form the 200 people how many do you think will search their own zip code?

normally people search for zipcode by not typing in their zip code (because they don't know it?)

yes, what kuro said is true. while NNNNN.com can be zip codes, there isn't really any commercial value in it.

at least for nnnn.com, if you get a good combination like 2012.com, there is lots of commercial value since people offering products/services related to World Cup 2012 will have lots of interest in it.

nnnn.com is also shorter and only 10,000 of such are available compared to nnnnn.com of which 100,000 are available haha
