I just got a great offer via PM from a member here Artoo. I don't plan on taking him up on it but you are all welcome to shoot him a PM since he is being so generous to offer to rent names.

PM from Artoo:
Hello BGray,

I want to rent some of you domains 15 days, just change whois name and email,no other change,I could pay for you, what do you think about that?I hope to cooperate with you

Best Wishes,

MGB

Heh, 15 days also seems like about how long it might take to also complete a registrar to registrar transfer......weird.

Anyone else get this?

isn't it amazing that Turkish scammers try and come on a domain forum and fool folks owning 5000 domains?

Ask him to pay a nice amount to your paypal and simply don't change the email after, then put the money into charity.

This is considered scamming and is against the rules here at DNF.
Do you have something to say about this?

If you want to test traffic before making an offer that is one thing but you've been around long enough to know that the ONLY reason to change the email before a deal is done would be to steal a domain.

Artoo should explain the reason why he wanted name and email change,
otherwise i see no reason why he shouldn't be banned~ screwing the other member is not acceptable

IMO a reputable member who speaks chinese should contact artoo and find out exactly what his intentions are before we all jump to conclusions

3 years, 66 posts. I'd give the benefit of the doubt, (but not the domain!). I've seen a lot of language disablilities??? here and there. Could be a simple case of the language barrier in action.
Unless 9mm hacked his account!

I'll agree with this one. I think there could be a language barrier somewhere. Do we have any long-term and respected members who speak Chinese enough to be able to discuss this?
