Offer him $500 for the domain that is hosting his account and accuse him of being a cybersquatter on it. ;)

Give him a domain that is worth 50k and then go back a few months later and see if he will sell it to you for $500

giving kyle no more attention after this posting, but this shows the lack of clear logical thinking on this guy. I paraphrase "buy your kids domain name and wait 10 years until he can use it." I thought holding a name until you are ready to use it was bad in this guys eyes. i think he likes his 30 sec pieces of fame.

This isn't entirely bad.... anything that brings attention to domains is fine with me.
Just like global warming, over time, more and more people come to recognize the obviousness of the truth... and in the case of domains, it is that they REALLY are real estate.
Forget "virtual" and "cyber" and crap like that. Just like any other real estate (or anything for that matter), they are worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for them.
They mention "pizza.com" selling in the millions. Well anyone halfway intelligent should be scratching his head at the suggestion that you can get any name for $500...
In his defense (sort of..), making offers doesn't hurt... You never know what you might get... (wasn't it $500 for unet.com?)

I wonder if anyone has said anything against sports cards, antiques in general, coins, art work, old wine, etc. Why should an old drawing go for millions?

Have to agree this guy is all over the place.

The video link above is from April 4, and the OP video link is more recent (mentions .me)

Older one says buy it and hold (he did say kids name, but somebody else kid may be named the same) Bob Smith anyone?

Recent one is calling such tactics "squatting".

Guess what ever suits him at the time.

I wonder if he's ever bought some land/property as investment rather than to live in it?

Would make him a squatter by his definition.

Should also offer him $500 for it and see what he says :D

But a squatter would surely be someone who is occupying property he has no right to occupy, not someone who has bought or rented property he does not intend to live in?

If you pay the lease on a domain you have every right to use it as you want.

Why is that squatting when my example above not?

See the video, provides the general public's perspective on domaining.

I have to officially call him a hypocrite. At first, he says that any domain that is "owned" and not used is being held by a cyber-squatter and his tone insinuates he thinks that they are scammers.

But then, in the other video, he tells people to register their children's names and "hold onto them for 10 years" and "if you can find a good name, buy it and then hold onto it".

Kyle Monson - you are a hypocrite who is desperate for attention.
