Hey all -
I have a slew of adult names that together generate 3000 uniques per day (almost exclusively from type-ins) and $8000 per month revenue. (Full list of names is viewable at http://www.ebess.com)
dnpowerful and I have been emailing back and forth, and he suggested that I post here to get comments from others regarding my decision to decline his offer of $200K for ALL of the domains. I guess some of you will probably think that I am crazy
My thinking was that, tempting as the offer to get $200K in cash is, it would only make sense for me to sell all of them for that price if I was in dire need for the cash up front -- which I am not.
I'm not saying that he made me a bad offer -- just that it is becoming apparent to me that it makes more sense to just hold onto the domains than to try to sell them.
After all, I can make the $200K in a few years with no effort all on my part. And then I get to continue making $200K every couple years, possibly for the rest of my life. And frankly there is the potential to make alot more money with those domains than I have been if I actually put any effort into it -- a table of banner ads isn't exactly the best way to get clickthroughs and convert your traffic.
I welcome the thoughts of others from this forum on this matter, as, I'm sure, does dnpowerful (since it was his idea for me to post this here )
Cheers -
