That's why I aslo asked "how much traffic do you get per month? I'd like even deeper details on traffic of course if I was a buyer so that I can as you said ...figure out where they wouuld convert best.
You might not know where to get 200k but I think that selling them off cheap isn't the answer to "not finding a higher paying buyer" If he needed the money sure go for it ... bird in the hand and all that ...but he isnt apparently desperate

That's why I said that it would be foolish to sell if revenue net was really $8K per month. Assuming the long term stability of adult .coms (and the .xxx extension not being mandated), you'd have your $200K AND your IP asset in less than two years! On the other hand, others are worrying about the .xxx tld and the recent issues with VISA, etc. So $200K up front is hardly a bad proposition.

From the buyer's side, your looking for traffic no? So that traffic generated from 1 or a couple of domains would be far preferrable than x no. of domains at 10-50 uniques per domain.

If disapproving of slanderous remarks couched in cynicism is being "testy", then I guess I'm guilty as charged!

I'm glad this thread was posted. It is concrete evidence (not just hearsay) that DnP is whom he says he is. Maybe now we can put an end to some of the bickering.

Well, this is the first time I have heard about a specific transaction with specific domains to look at. That is what I meant by concrete. This thread can be used as evidence against those who doubt.

As for my opinion... I would have taken the $200k. Domain names are a very risky investment, in my opinion. Sure, the collection making $8k/month now, but as someone pointed out, if the government starts regulating adult domains, this kind of income may not exist in the not too near future.

This is definitely not going to be "income for life".

One thing for sure. This will go down as one of the "stupid" threads.

I mean. Would you have someone else post your "supposed" deal that was actually never done???

This thread reads like a Enquirer ad:

Alien Being from the planet eBess Almost Sells "Fu--MeRightHereRightNow.com" for 2 billion dollars...

Because there was no deal, genius. She had already turned me down on my offer.

I personally think she's crazy to turn down my offer, and told her to post here to get some feedback. For her, if the market was speaking in her direction, she might get a better offer. If not, she might reconsider and accept my offer.

Seemed like a fair way to let the market decide...

Still can't figure why anyone would naturally type in those ebesse names unless they were domain speculators themselves looking for porno names to buy, and that numbers thousands. :embarrass
