the guy who owns vurr once noted in a thread that the ratio ovt:vurr is 300:1

A quick comparison:

Overture / Vurr / ratio
google.com 6096478 79991 76.2:1
yahoo.com 3920497 76877 51:1
aol.com 2590803 3663 707.3:1
free.com 3037 33 92:1
chat.com 8227 135 61:1
music.com 47947 449 106.8:1
download.com 103054 870 118.5:1
hotgirls.com 7618 134 56.9:1
blogging.com 42 0
porn.com 103079 1481 69.7:1

Looks like about 70:1 on average without plugging in the numbers and averages, at a glance.

Sorry guys, been distracted with the new baby.

My early observation on Vurr/Ovt was around 300:1 ratio for domain w/ext. Definitely more crude observation than the result of detailed analysis. The ratio clearly skews on the low end due to the smaller sample.

I don't have a strong vested interest in Vurr.com (other than seeing it be useful) as terms of use prevent me from capitalizing. I do run a daily drop analysis that uses Vurr in the proprietary algorithms.

If anybody can share a list of a couple thousand domains with higher Ovt, I'll be glad to run a comparison and publish the results. We can keep domains and scores private if you prefer and just reveal the correlation. If not it'll likely be several weeks before I'll have a chance to generate and run the comparison.

And Duck/Petrosc/all, hit me with a pm next time you catch me napping!
