PayPal website down?

Anyone else notice PayPal has been down for a number of hrs?

They just put up the new home page this morning, now they are down.

EDIT: ... or slow, just after I posted this, it's up!

Oops (again)! But I was not able to login.

Okay ... all within the same minute ... I'm in. kewl

I was able to send money on two different occasions today.

But, they were slow on sending the acknowledgements.

They s*ck.
They are arrogant
They are georacists.
They dont protect their customers
yet, they will go out of their way to scre* you for no apparent reason.
and the list goes on.........

And they freeze your account and keep your money whenever they feel like it.

But there really isn't a good alternative. What would you use? Some weird stuff like stormpay or egold? Good luck finding people willing to trade with you if you use that.

Back to the thread... they now have a page that says that they are doing maintenance... sure... who would believe that?

I wonder what would happen to a site that accepts payment only via paypal, would it be able to process the transaction? Or would you end up without a sale?

cant access paypal too....probably the new design causing the glitch. i guess they must have loses alot of money too... imagine the amount of fees that they could earn for these few days...

the debit card worked just fine for me today... though when i logged into my paypal account just two minutes ago the few transactions from today were not showing, maybe they didnt process them properly and will dismiss them? woohoo k:
