I’m not too certain about online gambling or gambling in other countries. I do know that it is “illegal” in Japan to “gamble” and in France it may be the opposite as well as in South Africa. As we are making an evolution from the traditional PC, laptop, netbook to phablets which will require real time gambling in our hands.

I would consider looking into the laws of the host country before going out to sell it. Additionally, South Africa has a GDP that of 15% of France. This is obviously not an influential factor as gamblers will always be gamblers and will put any last penny they have into it before they give up (but exactly how much money differs?), it says a lot about the economy in the region. Although the populations of the two regions are similar, the income ratio is far off.

My suggestion is to put it on the next GreatDomains auction at a reserve price of less than $500 to see if there are any takers and if Sedo will take it under their wing for putting it on the auction block.

Again, I am merely speculating on the population, economy and legalities of the region without going in depth as I have no experience with .FR or .CO.ZA.—in either sense, good luck to you.

Thank you, David, good points.

On the other hand, there have been 5-figure gambling-related sales in the .co.za namespace and, unlike France, English is one of the official languages of SA.
