I like the domain name, and the tweet feed. Also, the "Cafes" section.

I'm not excited about the other aspects of the site.
- The design is not as warm as I would expect, it's a mix of traditional and hi tech
- The navigation is not very helpful, I would like to navigate by type of coffee in the first place
- I understand that the site is monetized via Amazon and ebay, but to be honest I could search over there myself, perhaps I already did that.
A couple small producers that offer good beans or ground coffee give the sense of uniqueness
- The articles could be better and add more value/insight

Sorry for being a bit harsh, hopefully my criticism is constructive.

Great name.

I agree that the twitter feed to quite overpowering...too long and too wide. Should be just a few (3, 5, or 7) tweets. Rest of the area fill with affiliate links for coffees.

Good name, poor design. Could monetize this one a bit better by making it more of an authority looking website (logo, etc.) and enticing more user engagement.

Your permalinks should be changed, add "next/previous" for posts, add internal/external linking for keywords in an article, add 3 related articles at the end to keep a user on your site longer increasing a conversion (whatever that may be), SEO this one to rank high.

Good luck!

- Maybe you could have almost an encyclopedia of different types of beans and or types of coffee - from latte to iced cap's, make sure you have pictures, people love pictures.
- I would try to get a nice logo designed, you could get someone here or try fiverr, com to design one.
- dido on the twitter feeds.

great start - like to see the future progress.

I own CoffeeMoments - if I ever get around to building it we should link them up.

I like the domain name. I like the design & colors. I love coffee.

My first impression is: what is this site about?. Is is a coffee resource website, a social network for people who love coffee, both, etc? I can't tell from the get go and neither will your visitors.

* Why does the featured image open up in a new window to the same website?
* Agree the twitter box is too long.
* The frontpage could use some work bringing in the latest content and establishing what the site is for.
* Why does the login open to another site?
* Font is a little small and too light.
* Why does "Live, Global Coffee Chat" go to a Twitter embed? There's plenty of jquery or wordpress instant chat plugins if you are looking for something to replace it.
* Reviews section: if I were here I might expect reviews of different brands/types of coffee. You seem to have general articles. Maybe that's to get it started. I knew a girl who was able to bring a lot of traffic to her tea review website by trying all the flavors and types of tea she could get her hands on and writing lengthy reviews. Just an idea for you.
* Stories: that's an interesting section.
* Recipes: same as the reviews section. Would be great to see recipes from other people. Maybe even recipes from you. You can throw just about anything with/in coffee.
* Don't forget to cross promote your other articles on the bottom of every page. Example: A few nice horizontal thumbnails linking to other content or a simple 'other articles' list.

Ok, I confess. I just reviewed your website to look at coffee porn.

To drive traffic, I'd produce lots of individual pages for a search-keyword-friendly phrase.

For example, for a page with a Spanish coffee recipe, you might have a link along the lines of coffees.com/spanish-coffee-recipe.

The old adage that "content is king" will always hold true; as that is what search engines, and inherently, users, will be looking for.

I have added several notes to my Todo list, thanks all. The new sections like stories and recipes will get more content over time.

Twitter box is now shorter.

Re choice of this Twitter feed: I dont want my own self-contained chat just yet (too few users); this twitter feed always has movement any time of day!

Tia, see below:

I like the domain name. I like the design & colors. I love coffee.
* Why does the featured image open up in a new window to the same website? Not sure which image you mean? They each do something different
* Why does the login open to another site? Its an external site; an email provider; free, PLUS I get 50% of the banner space; I need to improve its look
