Holoculture may become an appropriately popular term to describe our tech addiction- it would make a good title for a book or documentary, or a blog.

When I first saw this I thought you were trying a term for societies that use holograms, but I can't recall what the holo prefix usually means lol, probably whole. Holograms will be big and ubiquitous one day but it is a stretch tying holoculture to hologram use and that's not what you had in mind anyway. It's a weird term since its meaning is not obvious. Once holoculture starts being used more (and defined for the common man) then it'll be easier to sell

Try to develop it with the theme you think most attractive, if you have the time

"Holo" comes from the Greek "Olo" - the stem of the word "Olos" (ΟΛΟΣ/whole). Hologram thus means "whole" or "full" writing ("graphe") or drawing.

You hit it; when holotv's hit the mainstream market in about 2-3 years, our addiction to technology will become so ridiculously obvious... for example, have you considered the sociological ramifications of holographicporn?
How about holoeducation? Would you send your kid to school who has a holoteacher?

Everything is changing- our society is quickly getting holo, as in hollow, without substance, distracted and worthless ... can you see it coming?
