I'm happy peoples speak about politic...I encourage this because partecipate in always a good thing.
But this is a specific forum.
A domain forum.
I've noticed politic is ok and permitted on this forum, other things not because aren't domain-related.
This a multicultural forum I've thinked...but people speak only about Usa.
Don't misunderstood me, but I don't give a s... about McCain or Palin or Obama I'm Italian.
I'm here to work.
But when I go in a domain forum and I see 30 threads every day (with many posts inside) about politic and few domain threads with 2 replies...well I think this is not a domain forum no more.
No problem for me because I've decided to not partecipate no more for hours here and waste my time everyday to find a decent domain thread.
So good luck with all these politic threads from today I spend the majority of my time in another way.

I have only 24 hours in a day and I don't want spend my time to skip political threads in a domain forum.
From today I only will post my domains for sale or I will buy domains here.

It is ok to have a variety of topics -

It is not ok when:
- You create several threads in the same section in the same day with non sense topic. It's called spamming. Look back and see if you did create several threads on the same day.
- You start calling name and personal attack when other members do not agree with you
- Posting non sense stuffs

I had stayed away from the political threads until last week. I just could not tolerate the lies & ignorant statements made by people. I chose to confront those people "with their own words" and the facts (no terrorist attacks here in US prior to 9-11, Bush responsible for 9-11 & war, republicans bringing back slavery & lynchmobs, etc....).


With that said....... I would be more than happy to see that forum section go "bye-bye".

I vote the Politics/Controversial Sections be allowed to continue but the deliberate insults and name calling of posters be curtailed by a temporary suspension of a few days for the offenders. This is allowed for in the forum rules but its not being inforced.

I realize I may be subject to suspension myself but I feel if the insults and name calling directed toward me stop I will not be obliged to respond in kind. I'm anxious to see what others have to say about this, especially bd77 and Raider.

You believe so strongly in this MMGW bullsh*t that anyone who disagrees with you is automatically labeled a idiot... Anyone who DOES agree is a Friend, a Genius and should be treated with the utmost respect.

The most blatant example is the debate you had with Fab on GW, Fab who is probably one of the nicest and most LEAST confrontational members on this forum, was successful at proving you WRONG, and what did you do to him? Hurl as many personal insults as you could think of when you had nothing else to fight back with.

You want suspensions? You should of had a temp ban a long time ago when you called me a whore, A Married Mother of two Children.... You ask why I keep bringing it up?, To show others what a despicable low life you really are.

For you, it's always been about getting a Dem in the White House with a GREEN agenda, And now that you have one with a Democratic congress to push it all through, You come here and want to heal the wounds of the last two years of vicious personal attacks you made against us. Do you really think that's going fly?

The preceeding is what I proposed in regards to whether or not to keep the Politics/Controversial Section active. The following two responses obviously show these two members have no desire to cooperate.

I am sincere in my proposal as a way to clean up the political section and hopefully make it worthwhile for all members. Many times I've been placed in a position where I felt the need to defend myself against insults, lies, and name calling, mainly from Raider and bd77. I see this proposal as a way to keep these attacks from happening and if they do continue to happen, it won't be necessary for me to respond in like kind because the offender will be punished with a suspension for a few days.

I would like for other members to post their thoughts on my proposal. I think its a good one when applied fairly to all concerned. Raider and bd77 are not the ones who should be deciding whether or not this is a good plan....of course they don't like it because they want to continue their unrestricted insults.

Management will be the one to make the final call on this but if we could get everyone to agree to it maybe it would make their call a lot easier.

In response to Raiders' claim that I called her a whore, she and I both know its a lie. Several months (years?) ago someone, and I don't recall who it was, did call her that name in a thread we were both posting in....but it was not me. However, since I was the primary target of her venom she later insisted it was I who made the call. If I had made it I would admit it....but I DID NOT! There is nothing I can do but continue to deny her lie.
