For those of you that are PMing me offers, I want to make it clear that it is not for sale. I refuse to be insulted for $89.
If it's not for sale, then I would say the appraisal value doesn't really matter. It's worth what you were willing to pay.

I think there is value in it well above $69. Unless you need cash on hand desperately... add 2 or so years on to it and chill out. A new social game or app or hell, a new sitcom may love to use something short and easy to remember as Porks.com. The "flip"pa isn't always your friend.

p.s Posting what you paid for it publicly isn't helping your cause.... then you give a price of what your want... and then you post what your low is ISN'T smart domaining or smart business in ANY field.

After doing a bit of research it looks like “porks” gets 3600 exact searches per month on Google alone. I think I’ll put it on SEDO and forget about it, maybe it will at least earn a few dollars in adsense after I build a few decent links to it.

It is already ranking 12[SUP]th[/SUP] in Google US and 4[SUP]th[/SUP] in Google UK for the term “porks”

I want to learn more about this business and what makes a good domain name, I am guessing that I need to be an Exclusive member to gain access to the DNFcollege section of this forum, can someone please confirm this?

I realise that I shouldn’t have revealed any prices and was probably the reason why someone offered me $89, my mistake.

If you wouldn't mind could you please try your best to read the entire thread before making a rather rude comment like that in future. Please try to understand why it is not for sale and if you can't then that's fine with me.

It's worth what you were willing to pay.

Really are you sure? it seems to me that you are posting your one liners on my thread's because you wish to promote your links, and with all honesty it is not appreciated.

?? Why are you so defensive, nobody is picking up on you :worried:
Since you're a domainer forum, an appraisal is an attempt to extrapolate fair resale value - either reseller or end user - or both.
Opinions are not to be taken personally. So I retract my previous opinion.
This domain is worth what you want it to be, which I think is an encouraging amount.

I have to increase my postcount, have a nice week-end.

I have just received the following from namejet:

Hello,

We regret to inform you that a domain you recently purchased through a pre-release auction has been cancelled by the registrar of record, as allowed by the NameJet Agreement. We are not provided with specific details and therefore do not have any further information to provide.

As a result of this Registrar request, we will be refunding the entire auction fee and removing the domain from your account within the next few days. Please be assured that this is a rare occurrence, and we do apologize for the inconvenience.

Domain: porks.com
Order: 555XXXXX Pending Reversal
Auction Fee Credit: $69

I guess they decided to keep it for themselves. This is the first time this has happened to me in over 70 purchases with them.

I made a post about namejet cancelling auctions. Most of these names are under whois privacy.
