A few days ago, the domain buzz.org was put on eBay on auction without reserve. After a few days with the bids hovering around the $1k - $1.4k mark, there were others just below $40,000. Most of them from users (id was hidden) with single digit feedback score.
Then, the auction ends with the other high bids retracted or removed. The seller also spammed DNF with 3 posts about how the domain had reached $39k - hours before the auction ended, e.g. http://www.dnforum.com/f4/buzz-org-worth-over-39-000-a-thread-274412.html
I'd be very cautions with such auctions. They can be manipulated easily in a pump or shill bid scheme. The domain is not worth $40k anyway.
