$20,000 is more reasonable, but this name definitely could sell at a higher price.

It was real. It finished escrow and a small, free appraisal site that referred the buyer earned $475.

It was confusing, partly because of a temporary glitch on the system. The domain did receive a $20K "unsolicited offer" (an offer on a domain that is not listed) very soon after it had sold for $9.5K.
