The last PR update was mid July, so it must be quite a few weeks ago!!!

If not, depending on how your Site is built, it is not the Domain that has a PR, but each single Page. If you have i.e. changed the names of the individual pages, you will also lose your PR.

If you lost it on the last PR Update in July, then it means, you lost your most important backlinks, or you got punished i.e. for double content. In this case you would normaly not lose a PR3 to zero at once. It would just go down to PR2.

Thanks for the response... not sure what the deal is... oh well...

I personally don't think that PR is the be all and end all, it is nice to have though...

Why don't you post the Site?

Perhaps we can then find out more...

ooops. I just changed the dns servers, gonna try parking it for a while...

I was finding that I was not getting any clicks with adsense so it is time to try a new approach... If this does not pay off after a month or so I will set up the site again...

Thanks...

Parking will normally cause a gradual loss of PR.
About 1 Point on every update.
(PR updates are about 3 to 4 times a year)

Next one should be sometime next month.

I Have been seeing the PR on many of my sites be "jumpy" over the past week maybe 10 days. Internals seemed fine, on all but one site that had got recieved PR on all 1,000+ page of PR 3. As of 3 days ago 28th I think they all got dropped, but the Home page got a PR4.

Strage things going on with PR lately.....----> New Thread about PR
