Are there any prefixes that add of lessen the potential value of a domain in general at one time or another in history or the economy .... eg./ - prefix' "my" or "the" or "us" and same for suffixes. ?

All prefixes lessen the value of a domain. The shorter and to the point; the sweeter.

it's all about the context of usage and common sense language

you can't buy "house.com" but "MyHouse.com" would be appealing, while "HouseMy.com" would not.

or JoinUs.com is appealing, while "MyJoin or TheJoin are not

imo...
