why would it redirect after a certain period? Can't you choose that?

what is redirecting of .pro??? not like .com?? someone can give some explaination?

.pro domains start resolving immediately after registration. There is a crippled service the .pro registry offers that redirects second level names to third level names. But registrars are not really offering this product.

When I've regged a .pro domain at encirca it has started to redirect almost immediately.
