Question about YouTube...

I've noticed YouTube displaying ads at the bottom on videos, on screen while video playing.

Does YouTube incorporate adsense in that manner?

Are there custom channels or other ways of monitizing a site using a YouTube video(s)?

You got to own the rights for the video. You can find the monetization settings under Account Settings. In there you can add your AdSense account details.

Yep - and if you don't own the rights to it (or they at least think you don't own the rights) they'll add their own ads and take the $$$.
