Again, this thread is another great example of,

If you're not bidding, it matters NOT what you think,

including my own comments.

Speak for yourself, what I think affects a great deal.... this is where I may add a " lol " but I am actually quite serious.

I had 3 calls today alone asking my advice on the name, first one at 7 am!

BTW, has anyone been watching Sedo/Snap/Namejet the last week/couple of weeks? I've noticed a major price increase in domain names, but maybe I'm wrong (no more sub $3k LLL.coms etc.)?
I've noticed this too, not on just LLL.com.

You should see some of the activity on CVCV.com.

Vunu.com just hit TDNAM yesterday and it already has topped $6K.

There has been a definite price spike in names since the beginning of April.

Oddly enough, this corresponds to about the same time in an end of tasting.

I have my own thoughts as to why and who and what, but it would be pure speculation at this moment. My speculation will be worth mentioning when we see many of these names back on the market.

Speak for yourself, what I think affects a great deal.... this is where I may add a " lol " but I am actually quite serious.
Consultantcy is one thing.

That speaks for itself.

I am mainly pointing out yet another thread of

I don't get it
I would not pay that much for it
It is not worth it
The buyer won't pay
Fake bidding

As if what is said is going to affect the end result.

Suddenly, those bidders are going to see this thread and withdraw their bids based on what DNF members have to say about the auction and valuation.

what I think affects a great deal....
Explain to me and the other members how what you think affects a great deal regarding the auctioning of Raspberry.com.

This auction is in no way going to be impacted by you in any manner unless you are bidding.

The same goes for me.

That is why these comments are not directed at you JP.

Want to compare phone calls?

Perhaps we can do that in another thread.

That is why I say yet another thread of bogus bullshit and to give everyone something to talk about.

That is the biggest down side and fault of domainers in general...they have this grandeur impression of how they control the internet and the thinking of all, including the consumer.

Two statements that I use will always ring true:

Domainers do not own the internet...they just wish they did.

The problem with domainers is, well...they are domainers.

Let me guess, they saw a bright star shining in the East, and came bearing gifts of incense and myrrh? "Well since we're already here, how about that raspberry.com, eh?" :D

I see "raspfestival" is bidding. End user perhaps?

Anyone want to bet on which horse takes it? I'm going with halvarez, he's going to bust out late in the final lap (hey, how come that horse never has a jockey?). :D

I noticed that a lot of the big names that usually dominate these auctions, didn't even enter this auction.

Love it.

Someone trying to convince me that this name would be lucky to make $100 a year in revenue.

NOW: two people agreeing that this domain would be lucky to make a $100.00 a year parked.

Someone just shoot me and put me out of my misery if I ever buy a name like this and get all giddy and piss myself because I get to park it.

it's just in the gut

as for those that thought it was a typo lol, should domaining and words be your main business roflmao, if you can't spell a basic word?

Interesting the 'Rasp' part of the word probably refers to the raspberry brambles as Rasp means to scrape or irritate (according to the Oxford dictionary). Still I think the 'p' is the awkward letter in this domain, probably because there's no real need for it - 16.5k was a fraction too much!

Personally, I would have no problem at all monitizing and optimizing the hell out of this.

If you are thinking at parked page then you are so wrong.

I would love to have been in a position to bid on this. But, the tax man cometh.

EEK!

My siggy pic is gone!

Freakin out here!
