I registered the domain-name to develop it myself.
Whereas I've been able to start developing some others
(www.Flagstaff.info www.Destin.info
www.OklahomaCity.info www.Fairbanks.info) I've not
had the time to start with Branson.info. Earlier this
year, I did receive couple of serious offers for this
domain (one from an entity named "Myer hotels"). Over
these last several months I've realized that
developing websites demands a lot of time and
resources. Meanwhile, due to some personal/medical reasons I've been unable to devote as much time to such
projects.

In short, I'd not registered the domain-name to sell
and have not offered it for sale so far so I don't
have an "asking price" so to speak. However, due to
the above-noted factors, I'd be willing to consider a
reasonable and serious purchase offer at this time.

Big Fart is correct - this is a very valuable name. Some big corporations have set up in Branson and can well afford to pay a good price for that name. It will make an awesome developed site and they know that. 20K sounds like as a good a number to shoot for as any.

Not to be critical but, you seem to be weakening your sales position by providing unnecessary background information. Why not simply say:

It looks like someone registered branson in stupid extensions. The same person might be interested in info version, after realizing all these extensions were worthless.

First of all, I'm pleasantly surprised with the valuations for the name, especially from this gang....(you guys are really tough with your numbers).

Secondly, I agree with qak that I probably should not give more info/detail than is needed since this can weaken one's bargaining position.

I also agree with BigF that the inquiry might have been by a casual window shopper. But, this is exactly how I've been approached a few times before, using an intermediary, by a big company. Most recently it was for www.Lowermanhattan.info by Company 39. So you never know. Finally, I also like BigF's idea of putting up at least a contact webpage, if not a simple 1-2 page site, for this name.

Once again, thank you all; I'd keep you posted if there's any positive development.
