For Sale Renew or Not to Renew

Is it a good practice, to renew domain names, if any of the .net, .org, .info or .biz is developed or taken.

I would say yes only if at least the .net, org are taken and are developed sites.
If they are not developed and the keyword(s) ain't that great maybe you should consider selling it to the owners of the taken extensions, or drop it.
