Ok, I am looking for a reseller account that can allow me to resell domains while not needing to have a lot of money available if a mass flood of purchases comes my way.

I do not need to be the cheapest domain seller out there as I am a web design company.

I like GoDaddy reseller however the api does not allow this.

I need to be able to integrate the design to my website.

I am of course looking to spend less than $10 for a .com, .net etc

I dont have a lot of capital to offer this service so id like to get a more affordable service for domains.

Looked at...

eNom, ResellerClub, OpenSRS etc and none seem to support this. I am concerned about clients not getting their domains when they purchase.

I am looking for a company that offers good customer service and is reliable.

Thanks

Yes, I have checked everywhere where it is reliable trustworthy company however not sure how to find my answer on the sites, do I need to keep contacting every company?

ResellOne
OnlineNic
eNom
ResellerClub
ResellerGenie
Resellerpanel

list goes on and on....

hosting is not an issue for my however domains is as I have a decent client base already and get some good hits per day to my website, I am afraid that after a couple months or year I will get hit with 100 orders and I wont be able to have enough credit in my account to let the customer buy it which can result in an angry customer and if I register for the customer there is a risk it wont be available when I do it which can result in law suits.

Thanks

To get < $8 pricing with eNom you have to deposit $6000+, with Resellerclub it is $199 at present and WildWest (GoDaddy reseller) you pay an annual fee.

I understand companies and fees, my question has yet to be answered.

I want to be able to sell domains and not worry about not having enough funds in my account to cover all the purchases I might get in 1 day.

Thanks

In case if you don't have funds in your account, your orders will not be processed. However, they will be in pending state. Moment you add funds, the pending orders will be executed.

So...

if I have $200 on my account and sell 1 more domain than the funds available the domain will be in pending mode and will be unable to be purchased anywhere else by anyone until I have added funds from the payment recieved into the domain and the domain will be processed?

I hope this is how it works.

Have been using ResellerClub.com for quite some time and according to my experiences you needn't have any apprehensions..

It's always important to maintain an available balance in your account for orders to go through but then in those one of cases you could always have your Account Manager work out something for you..

No need to have account balance with GD reseller account. If you buy the account from another super reseller of GD, the price could go down to just $60/yr. You may easily integrate the domain search script into your website, however it will be directed to your storefront for the purchase processing

Now the Pro resellers of GD are also provided FREE Deluxe hosting account in addition to other extras -that's a good deal!!

Hope it helps,

Hi, Thanks however if I use GoDaddy it will only be their API, I am a custom developer and dont want to break my brand.

Just buy an enom reseller account from a dnforum member
You won't need a balance to resell domain registrations

Beware that all registrars put the liability for charge backs onto the resellers

" You won't need a balance to resell domain registrations"

So, I can resell domains with no balance, the customer buys and pays me and the domain is not available to register to anyone else and is held until funds arrive?

If so, this is what I was hoping for.

Thanks

you could use a subdomain of your main domain for the reseller

Ok, maybe I am mistaken however, if I am a GoDaddy Reseller,

My website will look similar to this..

http://www.securepaynet.net/default.aspx?prog_id=maddogdomains

unless, I use the API "Application Programming Interface"

I want to use API however I have to have cash upfront.

I am new to reselling domains however ill repeat it again, I DONT WANT TO LOOK LIKE THE FOLLOWING..

https://www.securepaynet.net/domains/searchresults.aspx?ci=14514&prog_id=fxdomains

hostingdude.com

https://www.securepaynet.net/domains/searchresults.aspx?ci=14514&prog_id=lal1954

the list can go on and on,

I want to be unique and I want to be different.

"No , Enom pays you"

so...

say I have a domain reseller account and pay $8 per domain name..

I sell them at $9.99

they take payment and I keep control over my customers and they never see enom's website, I can use their api so I can stay unique and keep my brand? They handle this aspect?

If so, my question has been answered, I hope this is the case. lol

With godaddy, if for any reason you decide not to renew your reseller account, your customers will become godaddy customers.

With enom, you can choose between using the api, or using a premade shop, managed by enom, credit card processing made by enom with big processing fees, 0.95$ + 3%
So, if you pay 8.95$/domain and charge 9.95$ you would be losing money, the processing fee would be 1.25$.

Also you will pay 99$ for the PDQ

Check http://www.enom.com/pdq/faq_pdq.asp

I recommend you to fund the account, you are making business, don't expect other to pay your investments. You'll end earning more.
