No offense, but the run on proxy sites has been a huge fad, just like Myspace template sites are now and arcade sites were last month.

That seems to be the best of all possible options given that the industry is so well established and not going away. Instead of deriving needed tax from the activity, the politicians are trading that for votes. Ironically, I see things on public television more offensive to me than internet gambling.

As stated ... horse racing, state lotteries, and casinos exist. Thus another obvious double standard.

Obviously there must be some problem in collecting tax from online gambling in America.

They would never ban this if it generated tax for the government. Money is the only thing that the US government care about.

Online gambling must be sucking the money away from the national lottery etc.
