I love the concept ... it suggests an entirely new business that a lot of folks could come to depend on. How about using this for a new "wake up" service, either for busy professionals on the road or for waking up sleepy family members who are not, by nature, "morning people?"
"RiseandShine" could offer an elite, exclusive, friendly, and very positive set of services, from wake up calls and the delivery of gourmet breakfast fare to acting as a "personal assistant" for busy executives who despise getting up early. With appropriate and carefully screened references, the "Rise and Shine" staff could also assist busy parents to get their kids ready for school by preparing their lunches, helping the younger kids get dressed, and providing transportation for the kids to school or to day care, as well. Most parents could use a service such as this, if only on a limited basis, during times of stress or illness in the family.
A gift certificate to be used for the services of "RiseandShine" would be well appreciated by many stay at home moms (and dads!!), who could enjoy and benefit from the luxury of sleeping in late for a day or two at a time. Parents of very young infants, who get little sleep at times, would really appreciate a service such as this.
Then, too, families who care for ill or elderly relatives in their homes could also benefit from a short respite by having assistance to care for their loved ones in the early AM hours a couple of days a week. Single parents who are required to travel for business would also be a likely target group to utilize these services.
Oh, well ... enough of this fantasy stuff. I, for one, want my own "RiseandShine" assistant to help me deal with (Ugh!) the very early appointments I must, at times, attend. As one who has been suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome over the past year and a half, I can vouch for the fact that just waking up and becoming conscious enough to function can be a daunting experience at times. I would love to have someone help me get organized when I have those awful early meetings, and a friendly and competent assistant might even be able to teach me to like the early morning hours. She or he could certainly lift a lot of the burden associated with waking up, starting to move, and getting various documents organized for early morning professional meetings that I have to attend from time to time.
There are millions of others out there who also suffer from chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, multiple chemical sensitivities and various forms of chronic immunological disorders. The simple acts that we once took for granted can become insurmountable obstacles during periods of acute illness. "RiseandShine" could assist lots of folks to continue full-time work, rather than having to settle for some sort of disability retirement or cutting back to part-time employment.
In summary, I really like this name and the concept that it conveys. I really believe that this could be developed into a highly sought-after service.
Offering a host of services such as these could go a long way toward making the early morning experience more bearable even for healthy night owls. You might not become a millionaire with a service such as this, but if you found the right client or clients to utilize your products and services and the right staff members to assist you on a part time basis, you could make a substantial living offering these supportive services. What do you think of this idea?
Good Luck in developing or marketing this concept. Have fun with it, and when you get it up and running, give me a call. I will be your first client!
