so have they proven to you that the stats are not natural?

frankly I have been in the business for longer than 90% of the staff at sedo and I can not see any obvious abnormalities.

And I have to say one day a domain can have 10 and next day 10,000 due to a screwed up press release or mis-typed article, and no domain is the same. I have domains that fluctuate so unbelievably random that it makes no sense.

Sedo really should not be judge and jury on a guess.

But all that said.. Good too see that your traffic is converting elsewhere.

Sedo is pretty stupid.
They could have said "we don't accept myspace domains" and end it there.
Instead they tried to accuse you and made fouls out of themselves.

First off....thanks again NS for all your help on this issue and to answer your question....no hardcopy stats of any kind were given even though I asked many times to verify them to no avail....the hard copy dn stats you provided were sent 2 days ago....but I won't hold my breath at a response....at this point I can't be angry since rev has now increased at a more "professional" parking service.....

Sedo is pretty stupid.

That's the kicker...the dn in question has no TM issues and doesn't have any form of myspace, my, space or any other variance....just it's traffic niche.

Thanks to all dnf'ers for the PM's of support on this.....greatly appreciated.

Regards
Steve

The other week I noticed a domain name of mine that gets ZERO traffic almost each month, except last week I noticed the domain had earned over $300 in a single day.

I actually contacted the parking program in question and asked them about this as I found it rather odd, they said they would investigate and were suprised at someone complaining about more money :)

Anyway.... I got an email from one of the staff their earlier this evening and they told me that it was correct.

Crazy huh... goes to show you that sometimes abnormalities can be genuine.

No doubt....what is irregular in this case is the fluctuation in CTR in Sedo comparison to two other parking programs used.....at fab a 15-20% difference and 20-25% where the domain is currently parked...of course understanding certain variables such as page layouts etc, but Sedo showed in my case to consistantly chart lower with same unique base.....odd. But this is from the same provider that has had consistant login problems with it's clientel going on 3 weeks strong.....something tells me dropping the ball is the norm with this outfit.

PPC at Sedo is averaging $0.12 for me right now. Steady traffic, clicks, ratio. Revenue: two thumbs down.

Theo and dvd out of curiosity...have the top ad bids fallen or have you seen a slow/fast progression to your current CPC averages?

Well at least you can vote with your feet and move on to another provider. Sedo only hurts themselves when they do this.

Excuse me for venting but I just recieved an email from the great people at Sedo saying that my account had been closed/

I just opened an account at Sedopro, I have 400 high quality domains that I'm slowly moving over as I optimize them. I often visit this Forum to read up on any news concerning my new PPC provider, and I must say that I find this thread very disturbing, I read another thread much like this one posted last year. If Sedo is not pleased with where the traffic is coming from or it's not converting well from a particular domain, why not remove the domain from the account? Closing down a customers account without any notice or warning is WAY too extreme for me, the post last year indicated Sedo closed the subcribers account AND kept his earnings for the entire month.

Out of the 400 domains I have, I dont have the time to track or investigate where the traffic comes from for every domain, I know that its mostly type-in, since the domains have little links. If theirs a bad apple in my portfolio, I honestly wouldnt know it. I dont think I'm going to run the risk of this happening to me, it's like having my purse stolen.......Thanks for posting this.

I am also parking with Sedo and what I see here it is not ok.

If you have prooved to them that your traffic is correct they should keep your account closed, but pay you the amount that you earned till now. Then you can go to another parking program and keep your PPC business up.

There are lots of programs which are paying good.

I have this domain on an equal traffic split with these programs.
