There have too many complains for Sedo's on all main domain Forums, and what happened today for me just helps me to make the decison to leave Sedo forever.

I won a Sedo auction a day before yesterday at $405. I was happy for winning my favor domain at reasonable price so was going to send payment immediate right after the auction closed.

To my suprise, there has no Paypal payment link on the transfer documents. Wire transfer is the only option there. However I never use wire traansfer for any deal under $500 because of 1) It waste my time to go to bank 2). About $30 service fee will be charged by my local bank for a $500 wire transfer wihch just add the cost.

I heard times that members complains they can not send payment to Sedo through Paypal even Sedo put a beautiful Paypal Logo on its homepage to teel us Paypal is a convinient payment way. But I never think this would happen for me in one day. I have my account with Sedo for more than 4 years. I have sold 76 domains on Sedo and bough 8 domains there (At a toal value of $40K+ ), and I have paid 7 domains I bought there through Paypal without any problem (The 8th is by wire transfer because is a $4k domain so Paypal is not good choice).

And without any notice in advance, Sedo suddenly don't accept Paypal payment for lowball deals. That looks very unreasoable.

I wrote to Sedo and here is the communication:

It is enough to work with this Sh*t company. I will focus my time on promoting on other marketplaces from now on and don't waste my time iwth a SUCK SCAMMER

Sedo said they were woriied about the seller, not you. Maybe they suspect the name was stolen?

IF that's what they really worried about, what is the difference for me to send payment by Paypal or wire transfer?

The diffence and answer is: Sedo knows clearly that the domains has problem but they still want to go on for the deal and earn commission for this. Then I can not make charge back in the future in case of I have trouble because of the domain?

If that is the truth, it confirms that SEDO is a SCAMMER also !!!

Hello everyone,

We do not comment on specific cases on the forums, however all transactions are reviewed individually from a security perspective and the payment options are determined based upon this review.

If you are involved in a transaction and have questions about your payment options please contact your Transfer Specialist or submit an inquiry through www.support.sedo.com.

Thanks,

Lisa

hahaha, that convo was hilarious "What a shit are you talking about!?" Reminded me of 'McLovin' from Super bad when he gets punched in the face in the liquor store 'Ah what the shit'

ROFFFFFL ~ sorry, but I agree Sedo does pick and choose as they see most inconvenient and their support is a joke.

they sound like they are some kind of bot, they dont understand the situation , atleast they can say " hey , there is this and that factor involved, if you want i can connect you to higher authorities , or try to resolve this situation" but they say " Money can be only sent by wire , please send the money"

"please use civil language and money can be sent only by wire"

Hrm, I dunno if its the marketing on Twitter I have been doing, but I have received 7 offers on domains and sent 4 to auction. Let's see how the end results pan out. Taking some risks with a couple of them.
