There have too many complains for Sedo's on all main domain Forums, and what happened today for me just helps me to make the decison to leave Sedo forever.
I won a Sedo auction a day before yesterday at $405. I was happy for winning my favor domain at reasonable price so was going to send payment immediate right after the auction closed.
To my suprise, there has no Paypal payment link on the transfer documents. Wire transfer is the only option there. However I never use wire traansfer for any deal under $500 because of 1) It waste my time to go to bank 2). About $30 service fee will be charged by my local bank for a $500 wire transfer wihch just add the cost.
I heard times that members complains they can not send payment to Sedo through Paypal even Sedo put a beautiful Paypal Logo on its homepage to teel us Paypal is a convinient payment way. But I never think this would happen for me in one day. I have my account with Sedo for more than 4 years. I have sold 76 domains on Sedo and bough 8 domains there (At a toal value of $40K+ ), and I have paid 7 domains I bought there through Paypal without any problem (The 8th is by wire transfer because is a $4k domain so Paypal is not good choice).
And without any notice in advance, Sedo suddenly don't accept Paypal payment for lowball deals. That looks very unreasoable.
I wrote to Sedo and here is the communication:
It is enough to work with this Sh*t company. I will focus my time on promoting on other marketplaces from now on and don't waste my time iwth a SUCK SCAMMER
