How would you go about selling personal name domains? How would you approach the end users and how would you price the domain?

For example if you have a 16 year old exact match lastname.com domain, how would you price it?

better to wait to be approached, then you can pick a price out of the sky

as is, proper names can be hard sells

i was approached to buy mine recently and passed

for some people, in the scheme of things, it's not that important to have.

however, if the last name is also the name or category of another unrelated subject/company, then more potential users who may have interest.

but i don't think "age" wouldn't add anything extra, unless the interested party also likes aged names.

pricing = how much you paid, + how much on top of that, you want for it.

Popularity of the name will also affect the value, also some names are more popular in some countries than others.

There's a Facebook group for people with my last name. Maybe see if there's a similar group for the last name you own?

(P.S. I wanted to advertise some first-name domains on Facebook, but that's not one of the categories you can select for - that is, you can't advertise to people who have a certain first or last name.)
