24HD, my last post here (I hope). Calm down, we all know you like the rest of us are human, but getting so hit-up with other posters here is not helping at all.

Wish you all the best with your sale hope it works out in the end for both of you.

Just trying to raise an issue \\ about weird buyers - they post SOLD they walk away from a deal, they post SOLD and they take their time to get back to you, the post SOLD you don't hear from them for a month!

Trust me I'm not going crazy over this, I'm simply pin pointing some of the negative aspects of Domaining!

Another case of "lack of patience"

Maybe he's a M-F 9-5er, not a 24x7 domainer. Good grief man, chill out. If it were me and I read this BS thread moaning over a couple of days during the weekend and you chastised me for not being at your beck call, I wouldn't do business with you either or make you wait as long as possible. You have no idea what his situation and I cant see how this thread is going to help.

My thoughts exactly.... Just because 24hrDomainer works 24/7 doesn't mean that everybody else does, People have lives on the weekends, they do things with their family, take their kids to parks, the beach, go to parties, hang out with friends. Yesterday I had a Halloween party at my house with almost 100 people, my computer is always on 24/7, and I had one window logged onto DNF, but I wasn't in front of it.

I don't see why it's so hard for some members here to give other members the benefit of the doubt, Not replying back in 3 days is NOTHING... The seller should of at least given him 5 business days before even considering posting this ridiculous thread.

I'm not sure since when did 3 days became so annoyingly unbearable.

I remember when I last brokered a domain right here on DNForum (without commissions, just helping a friend), the seller (a member here) was a *little* bit impatient (after not hearing from the buyer for I guess only a few days); I already found THAT annoying.

The truth is, very few people eat, sleep and breathe domains 24/7. Most people have life beyond domains, Internet or computer, like family, job, or friends. Take that case of my friend again: he is a really busy businessman (with a forum busier than DNForum among other things). So to him, a domain sale (of less than a thousand dollars) is way off his priority. And I had to personally make a guarantee to "comfort" the seller (as in "I will pay you if he does not") . Of course, the buyer paid in less than a week. If you ask me, the seller is quite fussy, esp. when nobody else is bidding on (or even interested in) that domain during the said timespan.

There is an old Chinese saying: money doesn't come through a fast (revolving) door.

Buyer has PM'd me and informed me that he will make payment tomorrow. He states in the PM that his world stops on the weekends, then why come online and still not reply! I guess some people don't work on the weekends. Thanks for letting me know in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You better hope he doesn't read this thread, If I were the buyer and I found you posted this thread, I would not want to do business with you.

I don't know of any domainer that isn't online at least 2x/Day... and if he were about to embark on a long trip into the wilderness, why would he spend his final moments online making a deal he couldn't complete?

It takes me 3 minutes MAX to send a PayPal payment... why would it take you 5 days?

There is an old Chinese saying: money doesn't come through a fast (revolving) door.

There is an Domaining saying as well: money comes only when you search for it!

There is an Domaining saying as well: When Buyers go undercover with out notice, EXPOSE THEM!

There is an Domaining saying as well: When Domainers make ridiculous comments, lough out loud.

Should I keep posting?!

I would assume so the name would not be sold.

It wouldn't take me 5 days, unless of course something unexpected came up, such a personal tragedy. It happens and I always try to give the other party that extra time to respond in case something like this did happen.

If the seller wanted the transaction completed by a certain date or within a short time period, he should of noted it in the auction, I assume he didn't do this or he would of noted it in this thread.

If you order by Oct 31st, they will throw in a free muzzle, We will even take up a donation drive on your behalf to have a Batman logo embroidered on the front.

Just so you know and everyone else knows, the trade took place on Thursday at 130pm! That was the last time i spoke to the buyer till today!

If you spoke to him, why didn't you call him before creating this thread? Or ask him to complete the transaction by a certain date?

this thread was created before he contacted me, a - next time I accept an offer i will include a payment deadline!

I also made the mistake not paying better focus to his itrader ratings, as i found out earlier - he has had this issue before, where he decided to go missing for two weeks and making the buyer wait so long until he got himself tagged with a negative itrader feedback!

its one thing to say, people have a life outside of the Domaining WORLD... but this deal took place on a thursday afternoon, only place in the world that considers friday a weekend is IRAN!
