So DNJournal.com is lagging? Interesting since the traffic figures prove just the opposite. Online only 3 months, but the site has already jumped into the top 30,000 websites according to Alexa's ranking for this week. That is among the upper 1% of ALL sites. I hope it keeps lagging like this.

It does not surprise me at all! DNJournal.com has made quite an impact in the domain industry considering the short time it has been up. Not only does it provide entertaining and informative articles to read, but Duke has definately shown that he gots what it takes to make it in this business. Keep up the good work my friend!

Yes you build...but as your stats show....no one comes. Anyone can throw a simple page on the web and have no visitors, so I'm not sure what it is you are taking credit for building.
I was a TV sportscaster on the CBS affiliate in Tampa for many years. When John McKay was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach our station did the weekly coach's show. In those days the Bucs were really terrible. In fact they finished the first season 0-16.
On the final coach's show that year, one of our other sportscasters, Andy Hardy, who was the program host, said something that irritated McKay. The coach snapped "Andy you don't know anything about football!" Andy looked at him and cooly replied "Maybe not John, but I believe I could coach the team to an 0-16 record too!"
Congratulations Izopod. You have coached your team to an 0-16 record.

As is readily apparent to everyone (except you of course - but what's new?), Domain Name Journal is not marketed just to the U.S. It is marketed worldwide as the domain community is clearly a worldwide audience. I guess that never dawned on your before.
.US would be completely senseless for a product marketed worldwide as I have said repeatedly (but then you don't read beyond the comic book level, so I'm not surprised you missed this).

Why - of all people - would you say that? You have never accomplished anything. Crap names, crappier sites with zero traffic, yet here you are everyday telling people how it's done. Don't you think maybe you should accomplish something yourself - anything at all, but something - before telling others how it should be done? Just wondering as it seems like common sense to me.
As for the yawning. I'm sure you do a lot of that. Your site vistors (both of them) do too. You don't walk the walk at all, yet you love to talk. You are the classic domain wannabe with insufficient skills to get it done. I you have anything at all to show me that I'm wrong let' see it.

Oh, and if you think this is about Marketing a site in the .US you've stepped off the wrong boat.

btw: I wonder if CustomComputers.us (which is in your sig line) will ever do business outside the US. Given your analogy (previously)---he shouldn't have gotten the US. fyi: It does appear he DOES business outside the US...

Wait a minute! Stop the presses. I am giving Pod's offer a second thought.

It would redirect to the current .com (and perhaps later I could do something else with it that I just got an idea for). Is that what we are talking about here?
