To the people talking about Jerry Springer:
You know it's fake and staged right?
It's as real as professional wrestling is.
Remember the days of Jerry Springer when people used to beat each other up and rip clothes off each other - and the cameras would get it all? I forget what official in Chicago it was that gave the show an ultimatum:
1) If the fights are staged, you will have to get a license/permit to have those kind of staged events
or 2) if the fights are real, then the fighters will be arrested for assault.
Come on, it is so obvious it's been staged forever. I used to roll my eyes when people who should be intimately aware of facts would mess up on their lines or act calm/mad when they should be mad/calm.
To the one that said the show's 70% real Americans - note that people watch that show and laugh - much like they might want to go to a carnival and laugh at the bearded lady or some other freakish oddity.
