A lot of people asking too much for their domains, but some people getting some good ones.

Perfect example, do you think anyone would have bid on females.com if the reserve was $75K (let alone the $90K it sold for)

Just about every domain on that list tonight was priced out of the market
before it even began

Also what a half *** effort for online bidders, most of the time it said you couldn't bid
this happened on holland.net, so someone in the room got it for $27,500 while all internet
bidders were locked out, that domain would of gone for alot more if the internet was allowed to take part just like they did with beijing.net

Hmm will I be rushing to let snapnames sell my names, errr I think not after watching this evening's escapades and monumental f**k up

Keyword. Man, relax.

This was snapnames first live auction. If you ask me, adding all these names to the sales bulletin board... its pretty impressive. Without this auction, a lot of those names wouldnt have reached what they did.

The auctioneer was great. I left the online video for an hour and a half, when I came back the guy was still just as pumped up if not more then when I left.

We saw about 2.5 million dollars change hands. Compaired to TRAFFICs auctions, it may not even compare... But 2.5 Million dollars is a lot of money.

The next one will be in Paris... There will be time to work out the glitches and kinks they discovered during this auction...

I completely agree. Several domains could have gotten their intial asking price if the opening bid was too low, but people got greedy and priced their resevers way too high.

Do you really think females.com would have sold if the reserve was at $80K (let alone it sold for $90K). I don't think so.

The first day, some of the domains that had opening bigs of $1 still sold for 5-6 figures.

Point taken Ashaw

I was just mad that I was locked out of the holland.net auction, because of technical glitches, but I do stand by the fact the domains most of them were
way over priced

Females.com on the other hand was priced to sell, which is why it hit $90,000 if the opening bid on females was $80,000 then like draggar said it probably wouldn't sell

Looking at the domains that did sell, yes they had an alright auction, but I'm afraid it could have been way much better.

I'm looking forward to attending the Auction in Paris because being in the uk its just a hop skip and a jump over the water, but I will be looking for a better auction this time around.

You are right on the fact "The auctioneer was great" he was fantastic, but you could see him even getting pissed at the way it was run

his fav word etched on his mind is going to be "And I have closed the auction" PASS
