Just went to netsol to update about 80 dns servers on names i just picked up and got this message re: one of them reghomes.com

Status: This domain is in Legal Lock status. Domain information can not be modified

Strange as they have the correct email for me but I was never notified.

A simple search of TESS shows no trademark on this domain, so why is it in legal locked status?

Strange business practices indeed.

Called netsol today and they told me domain was locked on Feb 26th, 2005.
The reason they give is...they have none and they will get back to me within 24 hours.

Doesn't really sound like it has anything to do with snapnames at all. Sounds like they locked the domain because of some notification of action. It is odd that you didn't hear about it. Usually the person filing the action needs to send notification directly to the registrant in addition to the registrar.

I'm betting NSI screwed up and locked your domain by mistake.
