Sony hacked....AGAIN!

What in the hell is going on with Sony???

This is about as pitiful as it gets.

What's this, the third time in a month or so their site(s) have been hacked???

LulzSec, the same group that defaced the PBS website earlier this week, has claimed responsibility for a new Sony hack. The group claims to have hacked the website for Sony Pictures Entertainment, which is the company’s movie making division. LulzSec said in a statement, “Why do you put such faith in a company that allows itself to become open to these simple attacks? What’s worse is that every bit of data we took wasn’t encrypted. Sony Stored over 1,000,000 passwords of its customers in plaintext, which means it’s just a matter of taking it.”

Ouch. This is really bad for Sony.

Being such a big company you would think that information security would be one of their top priorities.

Feel bad for the people who have had their information stolen.

Well, I'm a tad concerned because I have an account with SonyStyle.com.

Yup, this the problem.

The more and more we put information onto the web or the cloud or whatever the more likely that this information can be hacked.

Companies need to put security at a higher priority level.

Not saying that Sony doesn't but obviously this is a big wake up call to Sony and other companies to ensure client information is secure and this thing doesn't happen.

Of course the hackers aren't being very helpful either.
