I don't know if you guys have ever taken BP with a corked bat, but I definitely could tell a difference....

I have taken batting practice with a corked bat and one filled with superballs. The bat is a little lighter which could in theory help with quickness and timing. It was difficult to notice any difference. The ball however did not travel as far. I suppose this would be good for a singles hitter.
