For those not familiar with the Spanish language, "cantante" is singer. The word "cantame" means "sing to me". Both are from the word "cantar", meaning to sing.

Your thoughts?

Hmm. It's a nice looking name, but isn't it "canta para mi?" (sing for me). Nevermind...I see that you specified sing TO me, which in this case is correct. I think it's also the title of a song (again, this is based on a Google search). It's a nice name with some development potential, and I like the fact that it contains a lot of vowels. One note: at first glance without the accents, unless you know it's a Spanish word, it sort of looks like "can't ame." Think of how a non-Spanish speaking person would try to pronounce it.

But if you were developing with that audience in mind, I think you could do something with it.

Ah, I forgot about that...by Marc Anthony if I remember right. Funny you mention the pronunciation...a native Spanish speaker read it "can tame" the first time while this gringo (me) read it cantame. I guess it depends on what you're expecting to read. Perhaps this is a tax deductible trip to Mexico to market it? :)
