Stamford is around the 200th largest city in the whole of the US. Very affluent and not far from NYC.

I just bought a three letter single word .net domain for $1,500... it sold for two years ago for close to $5,000 according to http://dnsaleprice.com/ so what was paid historically doesn't really determine present value. If you lower price please PM me.
