Yesterday a new user signed up to another domain forum attempting to sell the domain cool.org (they also sign up here but do not list the domain).
I am a staff member on another forum which I am not going to name due to obvious rules etc however the following is a brief of what has happened. THIS IS 100% CONFIRMED. I have personally spoken with Jenny Cool.
This domain has been stolen.
The events that led upto this are as follows:-
Jenny Cool (the original owner of the domain) posts on her twitter account that she is locked out of her Gmail account (the whois for cool.org was her Gmail account).
coolorg attempts to register using an email address for this domain
cooldotorg registers on the forum using a Gmail account and posts an appraisal thread for cool.org as well as a sales thread.
Several people report the thread as suspicious.
Jenny Cool updates her twitter account again to say that her account is still locked out.
cool.org changes status to transfer pending and the whois information changed.
I send an email to jenny's email at cool and receive the following response:-
The header of the email show it is sent from Kuwait (the potential thief logged in once from a Kuwait IP as well as several AOL ip's).

Spoke with Jenny Cool on the phone personally and have been advised coolstudios.com has also been stolen.
DO NOT BUY THESE DOMAINS.

Dear Peter,
I have sold cool.org a couple of days ago.
I no longer own it.
Thanks for your concern though.

Cool, Jennifer (PhD)

God I hope they're just after the 4-letter domain and that it's nothing personal. Huge thanks @glennon and @drcheezie for your alerts.
