I dont know about NW cuz i stopped bidding on NW.

That's why some good 3letter .coms go for under $1000 on NW.

However, don't most states have rather strict auction laws?

I can only speak for California. In CA, if an auctioneer was found to be doing things as described here, he would be auctioning off bar of soap at San Quentin State Penitentiary!

In our state, the Attorney General calls this "Consumer Fraud".

Anybody know where pool.com is located? They should be subject to the laws of the state they are incorporated in.

I don't believe any of this conspiracy theories is true. DNJournal has a featured article on BuyDomains and I suggest everyone read that.

I personally has won a few really heated auctions in both NW and Pool and I paid every penny with real money. Remember, it takes only 2 people to heat up an auction.

Yes they are in Ontario Somewhere.

I dont see anything wrong with giveing ult, BD and ele and whoever else a discount..

If you reg 50 anems with enom they give you a rate of 8.95

If you reg 1000 with enom its 6.95.

Isnt this the same thing?

kind of , but it's an unfair advantage when you are talking more then one party.

saying that party Bs money is worth more then party a isn't fair unless these terms are known by everyone beforehand (and that would cause soooooo many problems)

of course when you go gambling the high rollers get many perks like free nights at the hotel, food, hookers etc. but they don't get an advantage when they sit down at the poker table with the other patrons.

I guess that’s how I see it.

Why don't WE small guys stop speculating and ask the big boy who stated he beats every bid on pool whether he has a secret business plan with pool or not? Or with NW?

I don't bid on 3letter domains, cause they are too expensive.
