I picked up callingcards for 850, then hand reg'd internationalcalling, internationalcall and internationalcalls, all of which get decent searches in Google. Sometimes I wonder if I'm nuts for buying this stuff but within an hour I saw this article in ABCNews.com:

http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/AheadoftheCurve/story?id=7014819&page=1

I like that it is in the "Ahead of the Curve" section.

Hi OnlineStore, callingcards for $850 is really good purchase. Can you imagine setting up a system where you don't need to go to the corner store to get a calling card but just go to a site and pay to get a calling card password. Just a few days ago I had to drive around for an hour to find a corner store that was open to get a calling card at night. I have no idea why a callingcard company would not have gone and spend thousands to get this domain. Even better you got the plurial too. Bonfire owns the hyphenated version.

I'll give you $500 for it! jusk kidding hehe. Hope you will develop it.

Thanks guys. I save a fortune using them. I checked out callingcard.com and callingcards.com, and you can buy the cards online. I plan on developing the name at some point to do just that.

Thanks for the offer Belzibut -lol, if you had only offered $851 so I could have made a profit.

I agree it's a good buy, just search on google and see all the ads, plus check out the .com site. It's big business and the domain is worth more than the price you paid.

Indeed.. have you noticed any other LN.ca auctions lately? The last one I recall was from a year ago or so

No I havent but for me unless the NL or LN combo holds a strong meaning I think it is worth roughly 10-20%+ of a LL, therefore a NL/LN Are barely $1k+/- names. Always exceptions but for me that would be a general rule.

This comparable can be seen in the dot com, I have plent of LL and LN NL dot com experience and the percentile is similar.

T1 is a well known internet technology in the telecommunications industry, I think that $1250 is a good buy for that name. Then again I think everything is underpriced -lol.

$1250 was a good deal. If the market was healthy you would have said it was a bargain. There have been LN.ca's that have went for much more previously in auction. $1500+

Perhaps but honestly saving $250 to me is not ever a " great deal " and I only see 2 higher LN sales and again $XXX more. In this market it was not a bad buy but again not great. To me at $650 it was a good buy with potential to see $1K+ again every day, otherwise it was too much. That new owner would lose on the open market and that's the truth. Over paid plain and simple, I live today not yesterday. Its one thing to speculate but you have to use your head and look at numbers.

You know exactly what I mean, otherwise why didnt you buy it lol

I don't know if i completely agree...but...

I will answer your last question :) I didn't buy it because for $1250 i can get higher quality. Don't take that statement though as saying it is overvalued.

The way TBR works it seems that the market is quite small. Many are clueless about it. Others are dried out because of the economy. So that being said, i don't think i've seen something sell that i thought was overvalued in the last few months.

;)

So, who purchased t1.ca ? It looked to me like a lot of bidding in early action and then dead towards end, which indicates lack of interest.
