I "won" a $1K+ auction on tdnam and PAID couple of days ago.
Now got an email:
This message is to notify you that the current registrant of *.com has renewed their domain name....If you have already paid for this domain name, you will automatically receive a refund within the next 6 days.
I do not understand the "If" - everyone has to PAY after won auction, also I am curious HOW they will return me money - back to Paypal so I will have to pay $40 Paypal fees ?
Screw Tdnam, this model is insane and I think Godaddy is doing this way to make their cashflow "healthier" - company which did not make any profit since founded (1999?) must have HUGE cash flow problems. So they are borrowing interest-free money this way. Now they are maybe trying to screw investors with their "IPO". That arrogant prick Bob Da CEO wanna get out with some cash before will be too late...?
