In October of 2004 the historic first domain conference in a game changing series of TRAFFIC shows was staged at the Delray Beach Marriott in Florida. That event was the start of a 10-year run of 28 shows that spread from Delray Beach across the United States, then internationally. TRAFFIC was also the spark that ignited a constellation of new conferences that sprouted after that first show proved the concept could work. On the 20th anniversary of its launch, DNJournal took a look back at that seminal event and how it proved to be the seed from which the domain investment industry and community we have today sprouted.
