First off though, I'm sorry if you feel I misconstrued your statements in your prior post. If I did it was a misinterpretation of your ideas - nothing more. You are of course correct in that you did not earlier say that any business model that uses a registrars threads were "bad". Mea culpa.
Anyway, do you really see no difference between the practices of Snap and their registrar partners (and other, available-to-the-public Snap-like services) and between those who engage in secret name grabbing deals/registrar frontrunning?
I see a clear difference: Public access to deletes v. Private access only.
