"They even posted my whole story on the website."

Just out of curiousity, do they identify you on the website?

No not anymore. They did this for several months after the domain was taken from me and then took it off as company z now uses it for their own purposes.

That network solutions receipt is valuable don't loose it. If you did pay for dns registration for a period that would include today, since 1999, that might be useful. Without paying for domain name registration services since 1999 when you registered I don't know what the legal ramifications would be now.

Even if he might not have been entitled to enter into a service agreement/contract at the age of 15 - what right does company Z have to takeover the domain ?!

As i understood, the registration contract was with networksolutions, so why should company Z have any rights to that name ?

It wasn't them having a registration contract with the domain owner, was it.

Unfortunately we'll never know 'til someone who's at least "privy" to the whole
thing sheds light.

I'll assume for the now the OP has moved on.

Well I clicked on a new thread last evening and when I got to the bottom I saw the section showing " Similar Threads ". This one stood out but I had no clue until the last page it was 2004 :faint2:

This guy was online this year in Jan ? Who knows maybe he'll reply :suspicious:

I think he was referring to whether or not they used your name when posting the story. Check archive.org, might be a cached page with the story.
