We had released a new chatroom feature shortly before the auction started and the combination of large amount of members connected to the Bido.com website combined additional load draw the chatroom brought caused the site to halt to a crawl and eventually become unresponsive. We did put up a secure realm via .htaccess as mentioned here in the thread.
We have taken some time off, postponed auctions that were scheduled, but in this time we are making strides with code and hardware and shall return with plenty of power and stability. Sorry our growing pains had to become so apparent but we overwhelmingly appreciate all the support and understanding from everyone involved and affected.
