I heard of a pair selling today in the mid 5 figure usd area today, and was wondering what are the highest sales known in the .fr market.

Anyone keep track?

Biggest recent publically known sales :
- porn.fr 30k€
- comparer.fr 30k€ (to compare)

Which names are you talking about ?

Some sources suggest that 6 figures in € have already been reached :)

Check the french subforum of DNF in the language forums to read some other .fr sales.

Is is a recent sale. It should be confirmed later by Sedo...

Voitures.fr : 50,000€ => around $79,200 (16.07.2008)
Annonces.fr : 30,000€ => around $47,500 (17.07.2008)

Ideecadeau.fr : 17,500€ => around $27,700 (20.06.2008)
Ideescadeaux.fr : 17,500€ => around $27,700 (20.06.2008)
Charme.fr : 10,000€ => around $15,850 (02.07.2008)

French market is waking up...

Is is possible to register .fr domain names without having an adress in France if you buy through some registrars who provide this service :

Domaindiscount24.net, Register.be, macaria.com, web-solutions.dk, United-domains.de , epag.de, 123domain.eu...
.
