I got email.org for quite a price.

email.org is a great name, how much did you pay for it? Or what ranges are?

Fitness.org 12.500 Euro
Gif.org - 8500 Euro

in the moment i am in negotiations for a .org which will top 20.000 Euro definitly ;-)
Where do you find all your .org buyers Markus? I do reasonably well with .org end-user sales if I have a good .org & know who to market it to, but nothing near those prices!

Wanna broker PapuaNewGuinea.org for me? :-D

I can tell you one secret if it is a secret at all  ,
i add value to these domains.
I integrate them in a network of well ranked and positioned websites and domains, add linkpopularity, PageRank and very little content (one optimized page is enough) to it.
In 2 or 3 months these domains appear on very good positions in the search-engines.
Competitors in this market are confrontated with this little site which draws attention and search-engine traffic.
They see it is for sale and ... you know the rest.
Besides it is always good to add adsense to these one-page domains.
You can argue with conversion rates and qualified customers too, showing potential buyers screenshots of adsense revenue.

Regarding PapuaNewGuinea.org, i can add it to my sales page but would recommend trying it the same way i explained above.

That has nothing to do with the names though Markus..

what you are doing adds value, but it is not because of the name, but rather your work.

Am I right?

Yes you are right Jordan :) ,
i didnt´t say anything else in my post,
i add value.
This is the reason why i achieve higher sales prices.
But there are always exceptions from this,
i owned fitness.org 24h before i sold it.
Not much time to add further value to it :cheeky:

Wow! Are you saying you took a loss of $12,500 on that org? How and Why?

It's hard to imagine anyone selling any name for such a big loss percentage wise at least. What in the world was the name anyway?

US$250 is my highest sales .org domain price. Now someone use it.

Great Job On Those ORG's Marcus - We have sold a few ORG's for over $10K each - Only one I remember at $20K (it was also a site) in the past few years. Added value surely helps on the price - Very smart move - Best of luck - Steve

Best org sale: $2000 (tonight)
Highest .org purchase: $100
Highest .net sale: $200
Highest .net purchase: $2000
Strictly domains. No sites.

There’s no need for .net anymore, not now we have .com for big businesses, .info for information, .biz for smaller businesses that can’t get or afford the .com and finally org for organisations. .net is a dying breed soon to be extinct,

Good observation, rob.

It works! I own ff12.us ff12 is the abreviation for "final fantasy 12" which is a game for PS2 etc.
I built a really basic site albeit nice looking and linked some of my other sites to it and voila I am hovering between number 3-10 spots in google with 58k results.
Holds true for 2 other keyword domains which I built sites for.
Of course you still need to do a decent job with alt, meta tags, keyword placement etc.

I have pretty much completed a mid $XXXX org sale.
Where?
Here.
I will not disclose any info unless the buyer (which is on this forum) wants to disclose.
I still think he got a great sale, but for a good purpose.
:)
