So, I recently created a typo generator for one of my websites, and I ran Amazon.com through it as a test, and ran the names through my bulk checker (both sites in my sig), to find the following results...

Looking at more than simply "availability", it seems clear (by the name servers) that Amazon has made a point of regaining control of all of these "adjacent letter" typographical errors for its name (typos made by hitting keys only to the left or right of the intended key). For the fuller spectrum of "typos", Amazon seemed much less concerned, as the nameservers for many of these seem to be set to a number of different places.
That said, and because I know this is not NEWS to most people already watching, I notice that "AMSZON.COM" is dropping on the 18th of this month. After the smoke clears, and whoever pays however much for the name... I half wonder if it is simply a count-down before Amazon gets it from them, or if a registrant might have a chance at keeping it. %+|
Funny to note that they don't have "amazin.com", as it could EASILY be seen as a legitmate (and often used) slang for "amazing".
Any thoughts?
