Doing a reverse search on the postal code he relayed in his address pulls up another range close by that adress.

It could be important if he needs to be found. Often when having to fill in a postal code and trying to dream one up that makes some geographical sence many of us will pull up a recent one we lived at, or from someone we know, or even a PC from a local biz.
