Should I reply with this:
The price of the domain will start from $1,500 dollars. If your still interested on purchasing the domain then reply and we will start from here. If the price is simply too high for you simply don't bother to reply.
~Al

Should that be my reply.

A good idea would be to skip the rude "don't bother to reply" part.

Went with a dnforum member's suggestion The current asking price is $3000.00. Please let me know if you are interested in this exceptional domain.

Should of removed exceptional but oh well.
See whats the next response is. So far I think I accidently replied on a closed ticket which means theres going to be a new ticket with just this: The current asking price is $3000.00. Please let me know if you are interested in this exceptional domain. which will probably confused them as they don't know what I was selling. Should of provided my domain in that sentence.

Why you just don't write:

"Hello, I'm the owner of the domain domainname.com

This domain is for sale.

My asking price is $3000 (payment methods: Sedo, Escrow.com).

Let me know if you are interested in buy.

Have a nice day."

I've sold several domains with a mail like this.

Should I reply again with that edited version? or just keep at that.
At first I had no idea it could possibly be sold that fast....I didn't know.
Now i feel more confident.

you should have asked an experienced domainer could you pm them the domain, so they could possibly assist you with evaluating it, as well as given you some pointers on "how to respond to potential buyers"

one thing i rarely do is shoot off a price to someone who asks...how much?

especially when it's an unknown party.

i've found it best to ask them to submit an offer, then go from there if they respond.

this way you eliminate the risk of asking too much or asking too little, in the initial process.

Oh well I did offer $3k.
See if they are still interested.
Hopefully this will be a great experience even though if it doesn't go through.

I play CS often, usually deathmatch. Don't try to awp or knife me because I'll headshot you :D

Now, CS servers run by clans etc. aren't in for the money. I doubt they'd pay anything more than $150 and that's like 2 x months server cost to them.

OK, now you're talking.

So it's

Nice. You *might* get a couple of grand, just keep contacting such companies. You can also "grab" the plural in .org and .info real quick ;) and offer as a package.

Good luck.

Thank you.
A couple of grand is enough for me. I just need that to develop a site. I don't need to earn money online I just want money to fund my new site :)
Also they haven't replied yet. Thanks for the pms and the replies helping me out. This is like the best forum ever :)

Um... I just looked up counterstrikeserver.com and apparently you do not own it... are you sure the owner did not just let you use it for your website, without actually giving you ownership?

Update:
I contacted a few end users and they said were interested till I replied back with $3k.
So I decided to some just leave it blank and see how much they would offer.
I had one which the top was a hundred and right now I just got one with three hundred.
Their design looks really really expensive and they probably spend alot of money on adwords because it is all over the side for counter strike server and they are interested I personally believe because their site isn't listed top 10 for the keyword.

What should I respond with?
I am thinking something like:
Hi Taken off. The $300 your willing to provide for the domain sounds a bit low. The reason I am asking for a higher price than $300 is because the .net , .org, .biz, .info, and other extensions have been registered by other people. The domain is also registered in 2002 which means it is a old name and google likes older names (ranks higher on google searches). The other reason that it is worth more than $300 is because I see you advertise for counter strike server on google, but with the domain means it is easier to rank on top of google's searches. The keyword counter strike server has 24,000 searches per month which means free traffic.

Hopefully none of these endusers will see this forum :) lmfao
~Albert Tai

I mean $300 is pretty good for me i think the top domain I sold so far...but right now I got a project for a search engine that would require me to have something with X,XXX.
Do you think I should accept the offer?

Hi

If you want appraisals, then post in appraisal forum with the domain in the title.

we were willing to let this thread run it's course, until you start posting your domain with links in the thread.

Thank you biggedon.
I don't really ask for a appraisal but as if this is a good deal or not. I doubt anyone would see any value in that domain as it isn't related to anything they would know like the only person who knew what it mean was acro who plays counter strike.

I will put a appraisal up I'll see if anyone comments on it.
